LONGUEUIL, QC, April 7, 2026 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, April 8, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen, crewmember of the Artemis II mission around the Moon, will speak with the Prime Minister of Canada during the third and final live space-to-Earth connection. Please note that the Prime Minister will be participating in this event virtually. The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions will also take part in this event.
Bryan Akwirente Deer, Chief of the Bear Clan of the Mohawk Nation of Kahnawake, will open the event with a prayer of thanksgiving. There will also be a Q&A with young people selected by the STEM organizations Actua and Let's Talk Science, as well as Air Cadets.
Media are invited to attend the event at CSA headquarters.
